RTI Donor Service's Director Honors the Gift of Donation

The generous gift of tissue donation can dramatically improve the quality of life for recipients. Angela Rosati, Director of RTI Donor Services, emphasizes this critical connection to purpose daily as the Donor Services team honors the gift of tissue donation and raises awareness of its importance.

As a not-for-profit organization, RTI Donor Services partners with tissue recovery organizations to acquire donated tissue on behalf of RTI Surgical. RTI Surgical then processes the tissue into high-quality surgical implants that improve the lives of patients around the world. In her role, Angela ensures the Donor Services team provides the highest level of customer service to recovery partners to meet their needs and expectations.

“Angela’s expertise in tissue donation has allowed us to better understand the needs of our partners to maximize the gift of donation to help the patients who receive tissue implants,” said Jessica Schrauth, Field Account Manager, RTI Donor Services.

As a leader, Angela celebrates the team’s successes, encourages individual development, and looks for opportunities to improve processes to facilitate the best outcomes for donated tissue.

Prior to joining RTI Angela served as Vice President of Operations at Donor Network West (DNW), the OPO serving Northern California and Nevada. During her tenure there, she co-created the tissue program and led the organization to a record number of tissue donors progressively from 2010 to 2017. Prior to joining DNW in 2010, Angela contributed to donation through her roles at Tissue Banks International’s Northern California Transplant Bank (NCTB). Angela earned a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from Holy Names University and she is a Certified Tissue Banking Specialist and a Certified Eye Banking Specialist.
