Shafts and strips are allografts used in procedures that restore segmental bone loss in the extremities, pelvis and spine due to trauma, osteoporosis, removal of tumors or to aid in the surgical correction of a deformity. Shafts and strips are sterilized through the BioCleanse® Tissue Sterilization Process, which inactivates or removes pathogenic microorganisms while preserving biocompatibility and biomechanical and structural integrity. These grafts are pre-cut to select lengths to reduce OR prep time, and they are terminally sterilized after BioCleanse in their final packaging to provide a Sterility Assurance Level (SAL) of 10-6.
