BioSet® RT Allograft Paste (Flowable)

BioSet® RT is an injectable DBM paste. Paste is used to fill gaps and osseous defects in bone that are not intrinsic to the bony structure. DBM used in BioSet paste must pass an in vivo rat assay designed to screen potentially underperforming DBM from use.* BioSet paste is non- water soluble, so it resists migration during irrigation. The paste can also be mixed with blood, sterile water or saline.

*Every DBM lot induced bone formation when implanted in a modified athymic nude rat assay. Findings from an animal model are not necessarily predictive of human clinical results.

Features & Benefits

  • Non-water soluble and will maintain its implanted integrity during irrigation
  • Versatility allows for hydration with several different fluids, including the patient’s own blood
  • Validated low temperature, low dose gamma irradiation (the irradiation dose is applied terminally to achieve a sterility assurance level (SAL) of 10-6)
  • BioSet RT Allograft Paste (Flowable) stored dried
